What recipes can I make with sprouted Pearl flakes?
Our organically grown, heirloom pearl millet has been dehulled, soaked and sprouted before making flakes. Hence, the millet flakes can be used directly and do not need to be soaked for long.
1. You can substitute your regular cereal or oats with Local Sparrow's sprouted millet flakes along with curd or milk of your choice and make a delicious instant breakfast bowl or overnight breakfast bowl. You can add fruits, nuts and seeds of your choice! You can also add them to your smoothie mix.
2. You can use Local Sparrow's sprouted millet flakes to make poha or pulao and enjoy a delicious savoury breakfast by adding vegetables of your choice!
3. Local Sparrow's sprouted millet flakes can be dry roasted to make some savory snacks like chivda, namkeen. Add spices and flavour seasonings of your choice and it is a great choice of snacks for all members of the family.
4. Another great option is to make a bhel like mix with some seasoning, chutneys, raw mango and onion, tomato and enjoy a healthy snack!

How are the sprouted millet flakes packed?
Our sprouted millet flakes are packed in a recyclable, food grade box. Please trasfer the flakes to an airtight container once you open the box. Discard the box along with your regular dry waste.
I never thought I could eat bajra like this and enjoy it too! I made it like poha but with lot of veggies and have enjoyed it for breakfast and for dinner. Its just so convenient!
